Where do we give feedback?

It's been four days since the announcement, and there are four pages in this forum already. There's no way WotC can read the threads coming at them from across the internets.

Where do we go to give direct feedback/suggestions?

And are they even going to take random suggestions? Or are they only looking for responses to what they are currently playtesting?

I can't help but think that 99% of the discussion here is just us talking to ourselves rather than the only people that matter: WotC.

Aren't most of the "suggestions" rehashes of prior debates? Only a few things are new suggestions based on known things (e.g., modularity), but those relevant threads are fairly easy to identify.

It's a marathon not a sprint.

WotC announced their plans. We'll get the next glimpse on/after DDXP (or a column on the web site).

I'm intrigued that they are far enough along the path that they were running demos last year. It does suggest that the major visioning/design choices are complete.

Much of the discussion on the last four pages has been about stuff that had to be considered before those demos.

Getting some actual feedback to WotC is going to take a bit of work on your part. Have you signed up for the playtest? I expect they will be sending email to all of us with more stuff that we can give actual feedback on.

The thing that seems to be going on here on ENWorld, is the community members are hashing out their opinions, advocating for certain positions, and genuinely looking for good ideas on areas where they're not so sure. For example, how should we feel about the game being "modular"?

If everyone reading these forums goes on to provide input into WotC's playtest, then these forums will have had an indirect impact, but I think it will still be significant. It won't be monolithic ("ENWorlders think X"), but I think that's okay too.
