Good luck BlackSilver, and be proud of what you did. I know it doesn't ease the pain, but obviously you have heart, and there are far too few people like that in this world. I got beat down at a football game, because my girlfriend had the "wrong" jersey on...

Don't know about no other thread but like many I am pretty dismayed that it happened here. It takes courage to stand up for yourself and it takes even more courage to have been beaten and then wronged when you wanted to talk about it.

I wish you a speedy recovery both body and soul.

It is true that the EN members are generally a good bunch, but black sheep are everywhere. Unfortunately, I can imagine it only too well.


BlackSilver: That is really a terrible story, both the treatment you have received here, and especially that you have received by those shovelheads. You have my condolences for what happened to you, my best wishes for a quick recovery, and my deep adoration for what you have done. I hope that I would be as brave if something like that happened to me.

I can assure you that the decent folk is the vast majority here on the boards, and this includes all moderators, administrators, and creators. I'm sad to hear that you received such a bad welcome here by the black sheep minority, especially aftter the treatment you received by the Poster Children of the Shallow End of the Genepool.

As somebody who lives in the midwest & sees these sort of attitudes all too often...

I hope you a full recovery.

I wish you never have to expeince this again.

I hope those responsible are made to fully pay for these crimes.

(I wish they would come to understand the uselessness of violence & the harm it does not just to individuals, but society as a whole, but I sort of doubt it).

I am sorry you felt threatened by anyone here on these boards, and regret teh lack of civility that often arises on the net.

I know what you mean by this, but it always sounds much more different than it actually is. Some alternative lifestyles as seen in my head:

1. Methane Breathers
2. Budders
3. Backwards (like Merlin)
4. Treetop Dwelling
5. Non-Linear (like the Wormhole Aliens\Prophets of Bajor)



Glad to see you're still with us, Blacksilver. And while your Sensei is correct - the weight of vengence is terrible - allowing your attackers to be prosecuted for their actions is not necessarily vengence. Theoretically, our criminal justice system is about rehabilitation - it may do them some good to be shown the errors of their ways. If not that their motives were wrong, that at least their actions are not allowed.

Its my feeling, Silver that you have friends here, and that you should not stay away because of what happened in March here on EN.

I would like to hear the real story, all of it, though its my guess that you have been vague for a reason.

Thanks for the advice and the kind words. I wish my temper was better, more like your's- I know I could not forgive as you say you have.
