Where is the best place for a newbie to start a Greyhawk game

IIf you're looking for beginning modules to begin play, I'd use consider T1 The Village of Hommlet, and then lead into Rob Kuntz's Dark Chateau (Troll Lord Games) to draw the PCs from the Hommlet/ToEE area to the city.
Check out Ghul's placement of Yggsburgh in his Greyhawk campaign (he's using Dark Chateau, too). I thought this was pretty cool.

Here's his campaign log.

I've always started on borderlands. Greyhawk, North Kingdom, Principality of Ulek, Wild Coast, Sunndi, Iron Hills..that's just where we started a few of the campaigns over the years.

Personally, I think you could have the most fun in the WILD COAST.

Greyhawk Locations

I've always liked the Gran March..it's close to everything you could want to do, and still have a safe base of operations to return to at the end of the day :P

I think I have a neat map of Greyhawk somewhere.. that I could share with you.. let me see if I can find it.

Here it is!

Isn't it interesting that no one has chimed in for the far northern parts of the realm? (Including Blackmoor, Stonefist, the Tiger Nomads and the various Barbarians.)

Like I said Keoland is my personal favorite as far as countries go....
