D&D 5E Where on Oerth is Tamoachan?

Wikipedia says it's in the Amedio Jungle, while Tales from the Yawning Portal places it in "the savage lands south of the Olman Islands and southeast of the Holds of the Sea Princes". Well, the maps I have put the Amedio Jungle between the Olman Islands and the Sea Princes, definitely not south of the Olman Islands.

In fact, there isn't much south of the Olman Islands except a few other Islands. Where is this actually traditionally set?

If you look at the map of Oerth with the focus area showing the Flanaess, you will see that the land mass the Amedio Jungle is on spreads south and slightly under the Olman Islands. It is reasonable to assume the jungle spreads further along this area, making both statements potentially correct (although southwest of the Olman Islands seems better to me). I would personally put it wherever in the Amedio Jungle (or Olman Islands) is convenient for you.

South of the Olmans..SE of the holds of the Sea Princes is what the original module states.

I'd have to dig deeper into my products to see if the folio, boxed set, or FTA contradicts.

What map are you looking at? Stick to Darlene or FTA maps.

I was looking at the poster map from the D&D Gazetteer, along with some rudimentary world maps showing the continents. It's not quite as clear where the Olman Islands are on the latter.

Anna Meyer's fan created Greyhawk maps adopted the 3e location from the Savage Tide Dungeon adventure path but the bottom line is you can put it wherever is convenient for your campaign.

On the Darlene and "modded" Darlene map used in FTA it is nearly off the map..hex a4-137 on a small jutting peninsula of the amedio jungle.

I have a feeling the map and the original text contradict each other as C1 was written and produced before the folio and maps..at any rate-official location a4-137.
