Where to buy UN-painted minis

Keep an eye on their forums for good deals on particularly fine minis and whatnot. If you're looking unpainted grunts, soldiers, factions of fighters (even zombies) and such, keep an eye on various wargaming minis sites like -

Be careful when venturing here. Make sure your computer security is up to snuff. CMON is more infected than a Greyhawk Beggars Quarter prostitute.

Does any company also sell unpainted plastic minis?

I've been spoiled by WotC's D&D minis' robustness and really dislike transporting my (painted) metal minis, especially the assembled ones.

Edit: I know the forthcoming Ravenloft boardgame will come with unpainted plastic minis. One of the many reasons, I'm going to get it :)

The obvious one here is Games Workshop. Since there are designed for wargaming, rather than roleplaying, they may or may not be of use to you.

Actually I like GW stuff, as I said in the OP, but its pretty much the LOTR ones I like. The Warhammer ones have a style I'm not terribly fussy on... although some of them, as individual minis, aren't bad.

I will definitely look at some of those other places though. That Fantaziation one looks good to kill a couple hours on.

Thanks gents

I haven't been in the market for unpainted miniatures in a while. One company I found was a good, cheap resource was Irregular Miniatures. The miniatures were not very well done. However, they did the job and were very cheap. They also had a good line of normal animals, which was good great for the horses, mules, camels, etc. that went along with the party.

Unfortunately, it was somewhat a challenge finding an online source for them in the U.S. I had one, but I think they either went out of business, or dropped most of their secondary lines.
