Where'd the news go?

I don't mean to alarm anybody, but the entire center column, including the news, seems to have disappeared from the main page. It was there as recently as two hours ago.

That would be exactly it. The current system is stupid in that regard - the new system isn't so easily fooled (on the test setup it's still happily churning out August news )
