Wherefore the Lords of Madness?

You know, I think I meant "wherefore." I think my brain am not working good today.

And I sure hope the "Codex Anathema" is a book statted out in LoM, full of good Far Realm creepiness. (It might have been a better idea to save the Alienist 3.5 PrC for this book, come to think of it.)

You need to watch "Who's your little Pak'ma'ra". :)

Cheers!

I am shamed by the fact that I know what you're talking about. I had trouble breathing, I was laughing so hard, when I saw that. *chuckle*

I definitely like this cover more than the old one, although it is newer than the name change (as in, first the book was Codex Anathema, then it was Lords of Madness with the Baxa cover untouched, now it's Lords of Madness with the new cover). And wraparound art be damned, it looks damn cool, and certainly a sight better than the original cover (I love Baxa, but I didn't like that piece).

Demiurge out.

I like the new cover, but I have to agree that the wrap-around cover kinda bound the series together. I'd still rather have the old cover for that reason alone.

I also liked the old name. It's sad that it had to be changed because too many people didn't have the vocabulary to figure out what it was (the official reason, as I understand it).

I prefe the name "Codex Anathema." However, I much prefer the new cover art.

Consistency is nice, but I hardly think it should be a priority. I'd rather have better art (or, for that matter, rules) that don't match previous material, than lesser art (or rules) that do.

Interesting. Kinda reminds me of the cover from the module Pharaoh, in a bizarre retro sort of way.

I think I preferred the old title and cover, though -- maintaining series continuity, title flavor (Draconomicon, Libris Mortis, and Codex Anaethma sound good together), plus why are aberrations the "Lords of Madness"? Some of them don't lord it over anything!

Yeah, it's hard to picture a choker being particularly lordly.
