Whenever I make a character, I find there is one ability score that has to be high. That is INT. I don't know what it is, but I have extreme difficulties playing a stupid character.

Is there an ability that you repeatedly put a high number into during character creation? Why or why not?

Except for one my of my favorite characters (a dwarven barbarian I sometimes play) I generally find myself having to have at least a decent Charisma. It might be a fighter without any skill ranks in any Charisma related skills, but I find that I just naturally play those at least likable people so feel I have to have a decent Charisma score there in order to justify it.

What's a morally ambiguous protagonist without charisma? He has to get the chicks... and of course be 1337, not a n00b & hat d02...

Quite a few of my characters have a high charisma. But sometimes I really enjoy just playing a jerk. But she'll still be a really intelligent jerk.

Dexterity. Missing it in real life, I can appreciate how much a person adventuring might need it. :) I find that a good Dexterity can hide a multitude of sins, since almost all of the DEX skills can be used untrained, whereas few INT based skills can be. It's good for attack, defense, running away, and even hiding out. :)

It depends upon the character really. Most of my recent PC's (sorcerer, monk, ranger cohort) have just above average INT but I love playing stupid PCs too. I alternate between high CHA and low CHA characters. Really pretty much any attribute can be the highest for a character.

I've played below average Str, Int, Wis, Cha, I think I'd be least likely to play below average CON.

Cheers

Obviously Constitution. It's right there in the rules, when Con goes to 0 you die.

In the spirit of the poll though, I go with Int. Gots to have skillz.
