My group is about to finish Madness in Freeport, the last adventure in the Freeport Trilogy and I am tossing up between 2 adventures to run next. Should I run Torrents of Dread from Dungeon #114 or should I run Racing the Snake from Dungeon #105?

Both look to be a lot of fun. Racing the Snake looks different to anything that I have seen before and Torrents of Dread has the old Isle of Dread thing going for it.

So which one should I go with? I imagine I can guess the votes.

I'll say Racing the Snake (just because it is very different and I thought really well written) or make up something new for the Isle of Dread. Don't get me wrong I really love the IoD but the adventure in 114 was a little flat to me. I used the Isle as the launching point of my Age of Worms campaign set in the Scarred Lands.

Torrents of Dread (though if you have it, as Psychic Warrior suggests, you might want to pull out the original module and consider some other adventure possibilities).

Or if you aren't afraid to do a little conversion, Rana Mor is a nice little tropical adventure.

Did you run Shadows of Freeport? It's a Dungeon Crawl Classic.

No I haven't. I was thinking about running some adventures outside of Freeport. We've been in Freeport for the entire 6 months that the campaign has been running and I think that both the players and myself are ready for a change. I thought a wilderness type adventure would be good to mix things up a bit.

I don't know those adventures so I couldn't reccomend them, however I suggest you play Castle Ravenloft (Hosue of Strahd or whatever the new version is called, Its awsome)
