Which are the "classic", non-WotC d20 modules?

well the non-WotC non-d02 classics would be from Judges Guild.

Tegel Manor
Caverns of Thracia
City State of the Invincible Overlord

And of course D02 versions of all three are coming out from Necromancer Games.

3e Classics

I'd probably say that of stuff I've personally used
Wizards Amulet/Crucible of Freya (Necromancer)
Grey Citadel (Necromancer)

Have potential to become classics.

Of Sound Mind
Nemoren's Vault
Barakus

The Freeport Series probably are, though I've never played them myself. However, the fact that they came out first and best virtually guarentees them a spot...since most d20 gamers will have played or heard of them, at the very least.

My picks:

Tomb of Abysthor
NeMoran's Vault
Of Sound Mind
Freeport Trilogy

Tomb of Abysthor is by far my favorite of these, the others I can't really put in an order as I have very different reasons for liking them.

Instant Classics

We already have a few labled as 'classics' because of the great old-time stories we'll be telling of the experience for eternity.

Vault of Larin Karr
Hell in Freeport
The Kalamar Coin Trilogy

and no kidding...

Lord of the Iron Fortress

I would add the Witchfire Trilogy to the list as well. Not without its problems, but it was a great, action-packed adventure with loads of really fresh ideas and characters.
