Call me a sucker, but I'd love a 5e Dragonlance setting... I've tried others, but that is my all time favourite. As for the others, I'd love a Greyhawk one, if only because I narrowly missed out on it when I first started playing D&D.

I am surprised Greyhawk is such a big favorite. Although it is the traditional DnD setting, to me it always felt like Gygax tried to shoehorn a role-playing game into his medieval miniatures Chainmail game. I voted for Eberron, but Forgotten Realms has always seemed like the quintessential fantasy RPG world.

Well, Greyhawk was the flagship setting for three editions of D&D. I don't have any particular like/dislike for it but I can see why there'd be a lot of passion for it, especially after it got kicked out during 4e (which was one of WotC's odder decisions).

1. Spelljammer
2. Ravenloft
3. Dark Sun
4. Dragonlance

I know that it wouldn't be a smart business decision, but I'd also like to see a new setting come out, perhaps a swashbuckling Renaissance setting akin to 7th Sea. I'm a sucker for nautical adventures, which is probably why Spelljammer tops my list...

Yes, that's very odd. I'd love it if people who voted Greyhawk came here to explain why they think it would be a good choice (apart from tradition, which isn't really much of an argument.) Forgotten Realms I can understand, because although I find it bland and not very exciting, it provides a blank canvas for fantasy adventures that people may find attractive, but Greyhawk, I feel, has very few saving graces.

I would love to see some Dragonlance. I am mainly in love with the world created in the books I read since I was a kid. I think it would be cool to see adventures that run parallel to the Heroes of the Lance.
