cleric. In previous editions they paid for armor use with real weapon restrictions and reduced spellcasting. 3e gave them FAR too much and then removed most in-rules restrictions on them. Then 3.xD&D's Options not Restrictions attitude has further increased them in power.
Ebberon's lack of actual gods goes even farther in this direction .
