Since we're talking Dream Park, I'd be the Gamemaster. Seriously, that's where the money is and the only place where I'd be truly happy creatively. Plus I read those books, playing the games is dangerous. Gamemasters get to keep the airconditioning on.

Mage. I picture myself surrounded by stacks of books researching esoteric knowledge.

But when it came time to participate with others on quest, could you (and others who picked mage) actually perform your spells in front of others with any grace?

I see a few brainy responses here -- no insult directed at you, IW -- who say they'd be best suited to the magic-studying life of a mage. And in a tabletop game, all we have to do is declare, "I cast Such-and-Such spell!" But in a real action scenario, with casting performance on the line? ... I have healthy doubts.

Sorry, folks, but it's fighter and thief for most of ya, with cleric close behind.

Warrior...straight up.

Something about the subtlety of lopping off limbs and slicing spleens appeals to me ;). Did the "modern day warrior" thing for almost 10 years...

Are you serious? Mages get the HD, AC, and physical characteristics of a particularly feeble commoner. Experts, which many of use would presumably be "in real life", are better than that. So, yeah, I think I can manage the physical side of wizard-dom. If I were in a "real action scenario", I'd be improvising the whole time regardless of which class I was, and I definitely think book-learnin' would be my best bet.

And besides, surrounding yourself with arcane books 24/7 is what mages do. They leave the running and the jumping and the getting knifed to others whenever possible.

Please don't assign my class. You don't even know me! :]

I chose mage but truth of the matter is I'd probably be closer to Psion or Warlock, though it's not unthinkable that I could be a druid or spirit shaman.

Cleric. Because theology is fun! Really, it is.

And out of STR, DEX, INT, or WIS, my highest stat is probably in Wisdom.

As usual, I agree with CrusaderX. I would be a cleric because I like theology and helping people.

I'll have to go with none of the above. I actually think I would be happy as a commoner. That way, I could stay in my happy little hovel and let everyone else do the killing and dying. If a monster showed up; I'd run.

Adventuring is most fun if done from a comfortable chair with a group of friends, lots of snacks, and no direct threat of bodily harm :D

well as I have great balance, tend to be very light on my feet (I love sneaking up behind people), I am a skilled pick-pocket (take things from my friends all the time for giggles), I can juggle, I know many card tricks, I am a carsalesman (read: good negotiator/talker NOT SLEAZE/SNAKE/OTHER THINGS YOU WANT TO CALL ME:)), have fast reflexs (used to play 2nd base in baseball), and good aim (pretty good at darts)... I think I would fit best as a Cleric Rogue.
