Rangers. WotC has failed to produce a decent ranger in 3.X, and the 3.5 ranger has been shunted to the secondary ranks, which really annoys me.

Easy: do as Alternity did, and make Action Points a function of Charisma. It also wouldn't be difficult to justify basing bonus spells for all classes on Charisma.

I don't have Alternity so I'll need you to fill me in.

Well, that's pretty much it: Last Resort Points (the equivalent of Action Points) vary depending on Personality (the equivalent of Charisma).

The numbers are not the same and I don't have the Eberron version of action points in front of me, so there's not much I can give you by way of conversion.

As a DM, which I usually am, I cringe when I hear the work "monk". As a player, I get most frustrated when trying to play a bard. I really liked my bard character as a character, but mechanically he was pretty uninspiring.

I think ultimately, though, if any class were to be removed from the PHB I'd want it to be Monk.

There was no poll yet when I posted "Commoner" but it isn't a choice in the poll, so I'll defer to those who say, "Monk" since I don't even allow them at my game table for standard D&D games.

Fighter.

After 12th level, you've bought ALL the feats in your primary (and some secondary) feat trees. You have no high level abilities to look forward to (other than more feats, probably NOT tied your focus(es)) and you have jack for skills (hmmm... craft, climb, jump, intimidate, ride, or handle animal?)

While some people may like the 11 odd bonus feats called a class, I'd rather something with flavor or uniqueness, even for the generic old fighter...
