Which ghosts would make great pcs?

I created a Fate fugitive where a ghost or other spectre is turned into a semi-physical form and therefore a viable PC. They retain many of their ghostly characteristics, but are "freed" from their tale and given free will.

Which ghosts throughout various tales would you want to see turned into an adventurer and why?

Captain Daniel Gregg, one of the last sea captains of the Age of Sail. Resistant to change, tough as nails, desires to leave his estate to form a retirement home caring for the less fortunate or crippled sea captains that come after him.
