Which Magic Items Would You Get?

Boots of Striding & Springing (6,000 gp) is my favorite. Cloak of Resistance +3 (9,000 gp) maybe must have for anyone. Any other items will be depend on their class.

If you could buy any 5 magic items. Each one has to be 10,000 GP or under. Which 5 would you get. Remember just 5 and each one has to be under 10,000 GP. Just curious as to what type of magical items people would choose.

4 dull gray ioun stones and a suit of +3 half plate.

Hmmm, armour of haste from DoTF is slighly to expensive, but I would happily burn the other options for that singular item of goodness.

however, for a cleric, of about level 9-10 :-)

Necklace of prayer beads with bead of Karma and bead of healing (+4 caster level is great. use it first thing in the morning when you extend/persist all your spells for extra duration and dispel resistance.)

Without the armour boots of speed are good.

Peipat of wisdom and cloak of charima.

The lack of armour is because I would use greater magic weapon/magic vestments to get the magic boost.

Slightly? :D Armor of Speed has been changed to a +7 bonus. So it would cost 64,000 gp to enchant a suit of armor with that property. But that's just slightly above the 10,000 gp limit...
;)

Oliver Probono, my long standing conjurer (2nd-14th level) character, couldn't live without the following items:

Hand of the Mage - A silly little item that has saved the party more times than I care to count.
Bag of Holding I - Face it, if you can carry it -it's yours.
Cloak of Resistance - A life saver.
Ring of Protection - Don't leave home without it.
Gloves of Dexterity - To boost that cross-class tumbling skill.

Milo Highhill
Halfling Sorcerer-13th level
Boots of striding and springing w/ boots of elvenkind
Ring of resistance +3
Ring of Protection +2
Wand of CLW 5th level caster(I know sorcerers can't use them but my DM allows it)
Cloak of the Elvenkind

Keen can be both piercing and slashing (I'm not sure if this is errata or what, I just know it's true)

Umm, I don't really have time to think about what else I'd get, but gloves of storing are REALLY nice :D

Want to go from climbing a rope with both hands to fully armed in .5 seconds? Glove of Storing. First dibs on the uber magic item? Glove of Storing. Faced with an opponent wearing Baby Shields? Grab the baby and put it into the Glove of Storing. The possibilities are endless :)
