A classic figure of modern "magical realism" fiction, The Burger King is a Jungian archetype sprung fully-formed from the collective unconscious, a hungry hero for a hungry age.

The Burger King rules through stealth and intimidation. The boundaries of his kingdom are shrouded in mystery. You may be his subject and not even know it. Travelers may cross his borders with no warning beyond the slight smell of burning beef.

The Burger King can be used as a patron of the PCs, showing up unexpectedly and silently offering sustenance and political intrigue. As an enemy, he is a Machiavellian figure, putting a friendly even beguiling face on his insidious plans-within-plans.

Bah. To late for me to vote on the poll. That said, I'm rather pleasantly surprised by the amount of votes the Willow movie got. I didnt know it was that well liked by anyone but me.

Thanks, Piratecat. I wondered where the thread had run off to.

I figure if Xena and Captain Jack can measure up to the old Giants in the Earth classics (Cugel the Clever, Tros of Samothrace, Kane, frickin Fafhrd & Gray Mouser) then The Burger King certainly belongs.

There may be some heated debate over whether Cap'n Crunch belongs in the Food-based Royalty PrC or he's just a Fighter with a boat. At least Count Chocula is an easy one: FbR with the Vampire template.
