The only one I can say I'm really interested in is Unearthed Arcana and maybe the Planar Handbook if it's really good. Unfortunately... I can't see myself getting any use out of the others.

Unearthed Arcana and Complete Divine I'll buy sight unseen, and I'll probably get the Planar Guide if its not too Planescape-ish. I'm intrigued by the Races of Stone- dwarves have always been my favorite race since original D&D, so if its even half as good as Hammer & Helm, I'll get it. I don't use psionics in my games, so that one is low priority that I'll probably get eventually for completeness. Eberron is the only one I have no interest in.

I'll probably pick up the Complete Divine, the Psionics book, the Planar guide, and Unearthed Arcana; I don't know about the races book, and I can almost guarantee I won't pick up Eberron.

I've gotten to the point where I love WotC products for the variety or rules, feats, and other crunchy bits; they are great for establishing a "norm" in my games. However, I tend to stay away from purchasing campaign settings, whether they are WotC or not. There is certainly some quality material out there, but I don't feel like (A) uprooting my game to a new world or (B) modifying everything in a setting sourcebook to fit my games.

As for the races book (and probable entire line of such books), I will wait and see. Chances are, I will like them and add them to my collection, but I thought Savage Species would have been a useful addition instead of being a min/maxer wet dream.

Unearthed Arcana is a must have. Class defensive bonuses and an alternate magic system (probably just spell points, but it's still a step up) are alone enough.

The XPsiHB is a likely buy, too. It's not a slam dunk, but quite probable. If it revamps the psi system (gets rid of the snot), then it's a "for sure". If it's more along the lines of a splatbook, then I'll check it out and look at reviews, first.

Complete Divine is probable, but far from certain. The Complete Warrior may not be a 5/5 star book, but it's worth the purchase price and I assume the CD will be of similar quality. Of course, the current cleric splatbook (name eludes me) is the only one in the series that no one in my group felt was worth buying.

The others don't immediately turn me off, but I'm not really looking toward them expectantly. Well, I do want to know what Eberon is about, but I expect the reviews to be enough and that I won't be purchasing the sourcebook as I'm pretty committed to my own setting.

To those associating steampunk with Eberron, I don't think we've had any evidence at all as yet that there's even steam technology, yet alone a steampunk feel to it. The 'lighting rail' thing may well just be magitech.

And there are dinosaurs in other settings too, I think, so its hardly an Eberron-specific thing.

I'd say the only probable skips for me are Races of Stone (not a big dwarf/gnome fan) and the Planar book (not a big Planes fan). The revised Psi book is likely because I don't have the original. Eberron because I'll almost always grab a WotC setting book. Complete Divine because hardcovers are nicer than paperbacks. And UA ought to be interesting, at least.

Of the list, Eberon and the Dwarf book are lowest on the totem pole.

Eberon: Flat out NOT interested.
Races of Stone: Dwarves don't need any more help :p

UA, CD, Planar are most interesting (I'm very happy with CW right now). I love Psi but the 3e book was so uninspiring to me aside from the Psywar and some feats that I'll need to look it over pretty closely.

If UA is half as good as Au then I'll probably pick it up. The new metamagic and magic systems are what I'm really interested in there.
