Legend
We know that Eberron and the Forgotten Realms will be getting a 4E update. But what about the wealth of campaign worlds from older editions, most of them languishing or licensed out to third parties? Which of them would you most like to see return?

My first choice would be a new Planescape, preferably by the original authors, re-envisioned, and with DiTerlizzi back doing at least some of the art (probably he's a lot more expensive now, but still). That's pretty unlikely, though.

So a new Dark Sun, starting over at the beginning, not coming from the terrible second version, but straight from the original, pre-dating even the original adventure. Again, bringing back Brom or at least someone with a similar intense style would be a must. Obviously this could wait until 4E had some decent Psionics rules in place.

I was torn between Al-Qadim and Planescape, but in the end I had to go for Al-Qadim, as to this day I think it is the most elegant and flavourful campaign setting.

Al-Quadim is cool, but I voted for Oriental :)

Even if they become no new campaign settings, I hope Al-Quadim, Kara-Tur and Maztica will be at least covered in the FR line.

Looked at the list for a couple of mintes----all I could rouse was a stifled yawn.

That being the case, I'd like to see Blackmoor 4e, if only to get some rules for lasers and power armor.

:] I am glad to see this sentiment growing strong.

Spelljammer for me, please. Because I need giff with guns, Nautiloids, Giant Space Hamsters, and Neogi riding Umberhulk Slaves

My second choice would have been planescape/sigil because I need the Great Wheel and the cosmic parade of bizarre outsiders that went with it.

My third choice would have been Known World/Mystara because I need Bargle.

Aq, Greyhawk, Birthright, Blackmoor, Darksun, OA, Birthright, and Eberron are pretty Meh for me.

Definitely Al Qadim. The Arabian Nights fantasy genre is nice chunk of conceptual space and the original 2e works were absolutely wonderful. Only Oriental Adventures competes for it in terms of the genre space it covers and OA had a full 3e release.

I voted greyhawk simply because it was my first world setting and I only get one vote

I would have also voted for Al-Quadin, Dark Sun and spell Jammer...
