Sorry, I should have specified "the Amn booklet from..." Yeah; one of the nice things about starting my game in 1356 DR is that I *never* have to worry about the Tethyr Reclamation. I can't stand that either. (Welcome to FR novel creep, BTW.) That said, you still get better details on Tethyr by retconning Lands of Intrigue to skip the Reclamation than you do by using that (rather not so great) 1e supplement FR3 Empires of the Sands, which had the original detail on Tethyr.Staffan said:I was incredibly disappointed in this one. When I was reading the 2e FR box, I thought Tethyr sounded like a kickass place to run a campaign, what with the low-key civil war going on leading to many different factions = great place to have adventures. Then I buy Lands of Intrigue, and it's all "Oh, and now the rightful king (who happens to be Elminster's scribe) and queen has returned and reunified the country, and everything is hunky-dory." Gah!
