I voted Green Star Adept. My problem with it is that any player who chooses it will derail the campaign into finding their next "fix." That's fine if you want to build a campaign around it, but I don't.

I went with Elemental Savant. I love the PrC in general, but I thought the CA version nerfed it too much. I can understand a reduction in Elemental Focus considering that's been the design philosophy of 3.5 in general, and the second lost caster level is painful but acceptable, but forcing the caster to use Energy Substitution to turn all of their energy spells into the chosen type is really excessive.

Which ones I wouldn't want in the game I have run in the past (and am due to run again - we have a rotating DM chair for the time being):

Mage of the Arcane Order. I don't like the way the class as presented, although I don't mind the mechanics so much at first glance as I thought I would. In our game, the flavor text is gone, replaced by something that fits the campaign better.

Suel Arcanamach. Not interested in setting specific PrCs in our campaign.

I almost voted for Alienist as well, but the poll didn't ask which classes I wouldn't want at all - there are several I would consider for NPCs that I wouldn't want as PCs.

Wait, you were able to vote for multiple items? Damn, I would have added Green Star Adepts as well. I don't mind the concept, but I can't see anyone taking the final level of it. The costs of construct-nature, like the lack of a Constitution score and instant death at 0 hit points, are too high for me.

Oh, here's a question for the voters. If they had actually updated the infamous Candle Caster for 3.5 and included it in the book, would you have voted for it here?

Nope. The candle caster is the sort of PrC that, while it doesn't excite me personally, seems like it would add unique emphasis to a character.

And I saw it put to amusing use as an NPC in a campaign on unsuspecting PCs. :]

That used to be my favourite :p

While I didn't vote against the Alienist, I do have some problems with the class. I like the flavor and all, but the rule that they can only summon pseudonatural creatures and not any outsider or elemental is sucky, especially for a summoning-type class.
