Although it is not obvious to look at the books, there are a number of them who sell them through regular FLGSs. What standard were you using for Print publishers, then?

Well, ok then. I'll count the ones that I could walk into a FLGS and buy off the shelf. ;)

Let's define the standard as "could be acquired without the need for an Internet transaction."

Awww, I feel bad now - my friends loved getting A Magical Society: Ecology and Culture for Christmas!

Any word on the revision of the Western Europe book that was planned a while back?

I've got one chapter done and out as a PDF called A Magical Medieval Society:Western European Warfare and am slowly working on the colonization chapter. It's still at least a year away if not more. We've recently been focusing on the 1 on 1 adventures line as well as the OSRIC Advanced Adventures line. But all of that's taken a back seat for the past month as we've been out-of-state house hunting.

Glad they liked Ecology and Culture. :)

Necromancer games is a publisher, they just don't have a good distribution access. (At least with WW. Paizo's a different story)

Plus they have tons of stuff coming down the line in 2007/2008.

I also believe that Anime the RPG will be a d20ish product.

Distribution under White Wolf was actually pretty good, but will end this year.

Getting their titles distributed by Kenzer, OTOH, has resembled extraction dentistry.

Psion,

Eh it's debatable for me considering I felt Necromancer Games deserved to have more of their products via WW on the schedule than WW's on theirs...

But agreed about Kenzer.

Margaret Weis Productions is still putting out print books, as are Troll Lord Games and Whitesilver Publishing. I think TLG is switching over to C&C almost exclusively now, but it all works together.

Trampas,

Good point about Weis Productions! I almost forgot...but then some people do forget Dragonlance.

Not intentionally mind you! ;)

They're also doing Ed Greenwood's Castlemourne in d20. They use the Cortex system for other games, like Serenity and BSG. Plus they're just good folk. ;)
