I go with gnomes here, especially with the 3.5 change in favoured class over to bard.

There is something inherently unmasculine about the Bard class and gnomes are just tiny ... and probably good with mustard

Elves may seem wimpy, but there is a certain nobility to them. Gnomes, sadly, got nothin' goin' for 'em now.

Elves are complete puffs.

Course I also felt half fey and/or fey touched were kind of effeminate...
