I wouldn't mind seeing most of them, but I can just guess the 4e crew would have to have an apocalypse in each world to "justify" all the rules changes. Ergo, they'd probably just end up pissing me off.

Planescape (Sigil/Factions + support for planar adventures from level 1).

Birthright (as fluff for a "rule a domain / mass battles" game system).

Al-Qadim / Kara-Tur with appropriate power sources, classes, paths, destinies, etc.

I would like to see Ravenloft, but I don't see how it could be made coherently with the heroic/paragon/epic mindset.

Maybe SpellJammer as a sub-setting of Planescape (sailing the Astral Sea).

I'd like to see a setting that is designed and created from the ground up to showcase 4E's system and the PoL theme. I don't want to see an older setting be hacked apart, re-tooled and forced to fit into the 4E mold.

I voted for several things including: Spelljammer, Dragonlance, Greyhawk, Dark Sun and Planescape.

The 3rd edition Dragonlance stuff from Margaret Weis Productions (who have close ties with the Dragonlance community) is really brilliant, so I add my voice to the masses of people who want their staff to be involved in the 4th edition Dragonlance adaptation.

I would like to see WotC try to do something similar with the other campaign settings.

I also voted for Kara-Tur, Maztica, Al-Qadim and Other. So I'll explain those here.

The Other in my case is Forgotten Realms. WotC have already published Forgotten Realms Campaign Guide, but that really is not the Forgotten Realms I know and love.

I don't want to play in some sort of Forgotten Realms: The Next Generation. I say toss FRCG in the bin and give us a new revised FRCG that has no spellplague, no destruction of land, no NPC-killing time-jump, no destruction of deities and is recognisable as the same planet in the 3rd edition version. What I want is a conversion of 4th edition to Forgotten Realms - not a conversion of Toril to "Points of Light". This points of light thing is all very well for a bunch of new 4e campaign settings, but it isn't what Forgotten Realms is about. If every campaign setting gets this "Points of Light" treatement, I'm not going to buy any 4th editon books.

On top of a 4th edition conversion of the 3rd edition era version of Forgotten Realms, I want to see new versions of Al-Qadim, Kara-Tur and Maztica to bring the rest of Toril to life.

Sadly FRCG is so ugly, that it has made me loose my faith in Wizards of the Coast and I'm not going to buy any 4th edition products for at least 5 years. In five years time, they will either have started to make true conversions that I can enjoy playing, gone bust, or moved onto 4.5e and changed the way they upgrade things.

I just wanted to expand on Dausuul's poll, by giving the option to select more than one setting. So this poll is slightly different than his, in that, I'm really asking which settings you would prefer to see. Feel free to check off more than one as they apply.
Dark Sun - because it's awesome, and lends itself well to 4e's mechanics and "PoL" mentality.

Ravenloft - because it's arguably the LEAST "4e-compatible" setting, with its downplay of combat. It'd be the perfect setting to expand Skill Challenges.

Other: Red Steel - guns, races, powers, cultures...

To be honest, the weirder the better. 4e feels a little "straightforward" to me, and I'd love to see some setting-specific strangeness.

I vited Dark Sun (love this setting ad agree - it fits 4E perfectly), Birthright (never used this but would like to see more on realms and kingdoms), Kara Tur (well I just want a Oriental Adventures really, not that interested in KT).

The MAIN one I would LOVE to see is Atlas Games' Nyambe: African Adventures. My Longtime setting and had a lot of African influence, and now with 4E I have created a new setting and it too is African influenced.

(I have been converting a lot of stuff from the book and would love to see Chris do a 4E version...I'd even be willing to help:] ).
