More people voted for Monsters of Faerun than Legions of Hell or CCII?

What are you people smoking... :)

Edit: Oh, I should have voted other as well, for necromantic lore.

And Monster's Handbook. :) But yeah I find it a little odd monsters of Faerun jumped out ahead of Legions of Hell.

Hmm, let's see... MM, MM II, Minions, Jade Dragons & Hungry Ghost, Creatures of Rokugan, and Monsters of Faerun.

Also, Monster's Handbook and Savage Species for 'alternate' monstrous rules.

Plus, the Manual of the Planes has a 'vital' monster chapter, in my opinion.

Cheers!

It's not a 'true' monster book, But Manual of the Planes, per capita, has provided me with more usable creatures than any other book but the MM itself. Otherwise, I grab from tons of other sources, from WotC's web site to the ELH.

I've considered the Fiend Folio and Monster Manual II, but I'm not sure I really need another monster book, especially if it's not 3.5 compatable. :p

Yeah, well, but that's not a monster book in the "catalog of monsters" sort of sense. But I think it's worth ten times it's weight in monster books in the hands of a creative DM.

For me, Legions of Hell, Armies of the Abyss, Liber Bestarius, and Tome of Horrors, and Book of Vile Darkness are my most referenced. Monster's Handbook gets honorable mention- I use it almost every session to some degree. We haven't gamed since I got the Fiend Folio, but I could see myself using many of the critters out of it.

I can't for the life of me see why MMII is ahead. So many of the critters in there are just plain wonky.

Agreed. *pauses a moment to wonder if that was a slight at me...but ignores cause Psion is cool and right about it being a great book.*

Umm, WizarDru, the Fiend Folio is 3.5E compatible. I think the only thing they didn't do was change the SR numbers. Of course, I could be wrong.
