which to buy

Three books, boy decisisions..

I want opinions which is the best for my dollar

1) Godlike

2) Call of Cuthulu

3) Spycraft

all three seem to be getting great reveiws, I cant afford all three. what do folks say?

Call of Cthulu I WILL buy, when cash is a little less tight. If Godlike lives up to it's promise as potentially being the first well-designed superhero d20 game, then that's an automatic sale, to me. Spycraft is highly lauded, but I'm not sure if I will or not. I like the subject material, but it's hard to get a group for a spy game, IME.

Uhm, it depends on what you like. *I* would buy CoC.

I voted CoC for two reasons.

1) I'm not big on WW2 stuff. Not my cup of tea. Nor am I big into Spy stuff - though one of the guys in the group picked it up and I will be able to rifle through it soon enough.

2) It's Cthulhu. Come on.

Spycraft rules. It is the best d20 game to be designed yet. It beats 3e, SW, and everything else I've seen. No question.

Godlike seems kinda cool but kinda hokey. CoC I will probably buy, but Spycraft I own and it is the best money I have ever spent on an RPG! See my Spycraft thread for more info.

Definitely Spycraft. Even though I'd love to own the CoC book and I dig the mythos, I honestly can't see myself ever playing or running a CoC game. At best, I'd use it for reference and as a means of scaring the crap out of my players.

I've heard a lot of good things about Godlike and may yet purchase it, but I'm not a big fan of WWII era games. So, Spycraft first. Then Cthulu. Godlike if I feel it's worth it.
