This is the first time this has happened in a long time...

I walked into the gaming store today and just COULDN'T find anything that looked good.

Where's R&R 2? Isn't that supposed to be out?

Are there good products that have come out recently that I'm missing?

I just had to settle for buying a Mechwarrior: Dark Age starter set.

*sigh*

Maybe my problem was I was at the store that tends to have a poorer selection and get things late.

I'll go to the other local store tomorrow and see if I can't salvage the situation :)

happens to me all the time - I "guilt" myself out of a purchase.

"That could be going towards the utility bills...

"If I buy that, that's 30 dollars less for the mortgage..."

"This looks nice, but am I EVER gonna use it?..."

Then, about 30 minutes later, my wife gets fed up with it, GRABS ALL THE PRODUCTS I've been eyeing, and slaps them on the checkout counter, forcing me to pick through the one I want most.

If It weren't for her, I wouldn't have bought anything since Neverwinter Nights in June...

Henry,

I give myself a gaming allowance every month. That way I can buy stuff guilt-free (this month I got around to subscribing to Dragon). And I don't worry about "using" stuff. Break down reading the book on a per hour basis and compare it to a novel. You don't worry about "using" a novel, do you?

Hey, thats Mechwarrior game looks pretty good. Heroclix is pretty sweet too. Very fun game. Spidey rocks. I cant wait for the expansion, I hope they have The Punisher.

I bought RR2 today. Haven't had time for more than a cursory look-through, but I like what I see! Oh, I also bought the Monsternomicon. 'Cause, you know, you can't have too many monsters at your disposal.

Dang - I envy you Henry!

My wife makes me buy everything on credit so that way she can keep track of all my expenditures. (I don't like it but it's a necessary evil...she is an accountant and keeper of our budget afterall...)

Just sucks that I can't explain that buying a $5 US ($10 AUS) PDF is "cheap for an RPG! Honest!"

:(
