Meepo "the Mighty" issues a whimper? Something has got to be wrong. The better releases in stores this week are Relics and Rituals 2 and Lord of the Rings RPG. Some of the other goodies out are Farscape d20, Weapons & Castles of the Orient (Palladium), Campaign Cartographer 2: Fantasy Floorplans, the Master GM Screen, the Roleplaying Database, a grip of White Wolf books (Exalted, Vampire, Werewolf, and Hunter had releases), new Critter Commandos shtuff, and new TSR novels!!

I'm very discerning bookwise- but I buy a hell of a lot of miniatures.

I'm assuming they didn't have the Monsternomicon available, because (IMHO) it's the best monster book since the Monster Manual, and you certainly couldn't have passed that up.

Where's R&R 2? Isn't that supposed to be out?

It should be out Meepo. No idea why it hasn't reached you yet.

Hey, thats Mechwarrior game looks pretty good. Heroclix is pretty sweet too. Very fun game. Spidey rocks. I cant wait for the expansion, I hope they have The Punisher.

Oh I agree, the Mechwarrior game is very nice. But it's collectible, which means I'll have to spend money on it in order to compete

And an update: I went to the *good* store tonight, and picked up R&R 2 and the Book of the Righteous. I was really eyeing Nyambe and Monsternomicon as well, but could only afford so much.

Ah well.

I think I'll stop going to the not-so-good store for a while. They didn't have ANY of those four products. Their prices are good and they have a good selection of used stuff, but it really sucks that they get everything in late.
