Whither Morbius?

It's been a while since I read the comics - would Morbius (Marvel) just be a guy with the Vampirism power on Neo's MnM site? This *is* kinda an MnM question, I guess, but I'm asking it here since it's a book question as well. I don't recall him having any non-vampire powers.

One of the chief reasons I wanna run MnM is to use Morbius - I love that guy.

He was the 'Living Vampire' for a good reason; all his powers came from the serum he took. He extracted blood from vampire bats in an attempt to cure a rare blood disease he had, but things went wrong and he wound up with fangs and a craving for blood, the blood of the 'guilty'. Recently he was transformed further when he was injected with actual demonic blood, but I don[t know what changes resulted from that.

Ahh. The last I had read about Morbius was at the end of his series (which I'll have to reread). He fought a guy named Bloodlust, who (IIRC) was a sort of Mr. Hyde to his Dr. Jekyll - I think Bloodlust was the incarnation of Morbius' vampiric half. Can't quite recall the outcome of that.

Last I heard, he's working in Los Angeles where he works as a scientific researcher by an undisclosed firm (hopefully not a division of Wolfram & Heart...).
