Who has picked up "Dragon: Monster Ecologies"?

i don't get a chance to get to the FLGS (not as local as i'd like), so does anyone know if this book is available in regular bookstores? maybe i'll snag it at gencon instead if i have any extra cash available.

I spotted it in Barnes & Noble, but that was a couple of months ago and it was in the periodicals. I kind of doubt it's still there, since B&N uses a service to handle their periodicals that precludes any kind of inventory.

It may have just been misshelved, though. Couldn't hurt to look!

That being said, we did a lot to update all the ecologies to the most current format of the series and expand all of the articles with new art, characters, rules, adventure ideas, etc, etc, so there's a lot more in here then just what saw print in the magazine. To use the "The Ecology of the Choker" as an example, as it’s the first one you come to in the book, that article has more than a page of new content, three pieces of new art, a new treasure chart, two expanded sidebars, and a new advanced example stat block.
Sold!

I have all of the magazines, but have been debating whether to pick this up as well. Hadn't read much up on it yet, but if a lot of the articles have been expanded (in addition to all of the other extras) then I'm definitely picking it up at Gen Con!

As a "special" issue this one will be on newsstands for three months, so it's still out there. I saw nine of them at a Barnes & Noble recently, so you should have a pretty easy time picking this one up still.
