Who has picked up "Dragon: Monster Ecologies"?

It is a nice looking book and I am not surprised they squeezed it out prior to losing the ability to mine WotC IP so extensively.

Well, they do keep saying they still have a good relationship with WotC and such projects could happen in the future (such as the often requested Dragon Compendium II). I'm not sure how much of that is wishful thinking, and how much is based on actual conversations.

And they motivated you well my man! It was one of my favorites in the compendium! Got me all excited to play in Dragonlance again!!! Great work!

If you're going to GenCon, stop by the Margaret Weis Productions booth and say hi. I'll be working there when I'm not off running Dragonlance games for the masses. I might be able to help you out with all of that excitement, and I can give you a hard time about Cyan Bloodbane. :)

Cheers,

LOL! I did my best to sidestep that bullet and let Tim take it, even though it's totally my fault! HA! A hard time I shall have then! See you there! :)

I saw this at my local comic/gaming shop yesterday and picked it up. So far I haven't had time to do anything but read through the new bits that aren't actually part of the ecology articles themselves, but I'll be giving the articles a read through this weekend. Very well done, Wes! The product really looks great.

The Monstrous Evolutions are perhaps my favorite parts of the book (though the index of every ecology ever printed is a rough second and was both Very educational and a little embarrassing to put together).
If I can ask, what was embarrassing about it?

And by the way, Wes, I got a big kick out of your "Ecology of the Ecology" editorial. Sorry for your osquip-induced night terrors!

And to Nick Logue, three quick comments: 1 - Thanks for the kind words; 2- Congratulations on your recent marriage; and 3 - I look forward to reading your "Ecology of the Titan" next issue!

Cam,

Can I get you to sign my copy of Holy Order of Stars too? ;)

Sure, but I hear it drops the resale value by about 35%. Which of course you won't care about, because why would you want to resell it? Right? Right.

Cheers,
Cam

*eight*

*liked the chronology listing of Ecology articles himself*

Cam,

Nah that's on if I get you to sign a novel. :p ;)
