Who has picked up "Dragon: Monster Ecologies"?

It is a nice looking book and I am not surprised they squeezed it out prior to losing the ability to mine WotC IP so extensively.

Well, they do keep saying they still have a good relationship with WotC and such projects could happen in the future (such as the often requested Dragon Compendium II). I'm not sure how much of that is wishful thinking, and how much is based on actual conversations.

I saw this at my local comic/gaming shop yesterday and picked it up. So far I haven't had time to do anything but read through the new bits that aren't actually part of the ecology articles themselves, but I'll be giving the articles a read through this weekend. Very well done, Wes! The product really looks great.

The Monstrous Evolutions are perhaps my favorite parts of the book (though the index of every ecology ever printed is a rough second and was both Very educational and a little embarrassing to put together).

If I can ask, what was embarrassing about it?

And by the way, Wes, I got a big kick out of your "Ecology of the Ecology" editorial. Sorry for your osquip-induced night terrors!
