Who Keeps the SRD Open in Another Window?

Do you keep the SRD open in a window while you are on EN World?

Actually, it had been a couple years - and I have mixed multifolder bookmarks and rss feeds on my bookmark toolbar, so I had forgotten that it was actually a set of bookmarks pre-organized by d20srd.org for their site that I had imported into my bookmark toolbar. Of course, firefox's search plugin for d20 srd is another matter entirely, but I never really got into the habit of using it with the bookmarks so well arranged and handy.

Go to this page: http://www.d20srd.org/browserGoodies/

There are two areas of interest for you.

First: d20 SRD Firefox Search Plugin

This will allow you to simply type in a word or phrase and search the entire d20 srd on their site for it.

Second, under Bookmarks, you will find a zipped bookmark file that you can import and place in your bookmark toolbar folder - allowing for a drop down, multi-level directory of all the SRD contents, navigatable in only a second or two to just about anything in the srd, no matter how obscure. If that takes too long or the questioned term is truly very obscure, just use the search plugin mentioned above.

Enjoy! :D

If I am going to reference rules, I'll pull out a rulebook.

I spend too much time reading on-line for my work -- I don't want to compound it with reading rulebooks on-line.

I don't. Not even when I play, and I actually play online and have 2 screens. But, just like others have said, if I need to lookup a rule I open a book. Call me antiquated, but I love the feel of books and I like to have them all around me when I'm playing.
