Could someone post a synopsis/review of L1-The Secret of Bone Hill. I don't know anything about it, except that I've heard it's a classic. I'd like to know more before I pay for the download:

I've DMed it a couple times. It's fun. There's an outdoor component, so rangers and druids can shine. There's a village, so bards and rogues have a place to show their skills. Of course there is a ruined keep, filled with monsters. I did the old conversion of it, but it violated the OGL, so it isn't in the conversion library. Maybe when 3.5 comes out I'll revisit it. I've done some work to bring it into compliance.

It's a fantastic low-level adventure. L1 basically fleshes out most of an island for use, including town, dungeon and wilderness encounter areas, intrigue, etc. Throw it together with L2 (the Assassin's Knot) and you have a great little campaign starter (though to be honest, you'd want the party to be level 2 before starting L1).
