Maybe, but probaly not. Heaven help you if your user name is or contains a common phrase.

They suck. Period. They are nearly unusable and harder to navigate than the worst web forums. Bring back something that is user friendly and tack the social network behind it.

I'll keep away from the snarky comments, just having some fun given the nature of the first post.

One thing I like about the new setup actually is that it flags if there are posts after something you've written. Click on the link and you're at that part of the forum. Really handy.

The layout though just doesn't sit well. It's amazing how something like that can have you going to a website less frequently.

Sometimes the En-world guys are over-sensitive sometimes not. There is a poster on here whose every comment is sarcastic with a underlying veil of mockery mostly targeting the game we are all talking about. He rarely gets thread banned....

and I have seen people banned from threads because they called him on it.

Eh, I think communitywizards.com does have a ways to go in a few respects, but at least they bit the bullet and made a transition to a system that presumably has the basic pieces to be better than what they had before.

I think if they can revamp the page layout and add one or two features it will be a pretty good forum. Right now its a bit annoying, but notice they do bill it as a "beta". I think they're trying to tell you something with that?

Lets just give them a chance. If they really can't improve it, then so what? Just post here. Its not like you can't get what you want.

One mans snark is another mans humor... the excessive drama seemed intentional -- so responding to it, seems appropriate in my book.

Over sensitivity is sometimes unnecessary.

Except it doesn't really help anyone, since its as informative as the color of the sky, and just adds meaningless pages to forum threads. Its the little brother of out and out misinformation, and it doesn't have any use but to annoy people or make them feel embarrassed. There are no stupid questions, only stupid responses.

Anyway, I killed gleemax with my L0 Chaotic Evil Halfling Cleric.

No one murdered Gleemax. You get to the end and find out Gleemax faked his own death with the help of the Emerald Swordbrethren. It turns out he was trying to lure out Madmoil the Despoiler, which is the next step on your quest.
