Looking back at the history of D&D, I'm always impressed at the experiments TSR/WotC has taken into multimedia. LPs, VHS, CDs, video games... Most have been "meh" but always inventive.

I still have the tape as well! And a VHS player. Which I assume still works, but you know, it's been a hot minute since I've said "only VHS will do for my viewing experience!"

My Dragonstrike board game has long disappeared, but I have fond memories of that cheezy video.

It amuses me that the uploader has carefully preserved the "this videocassette is protected by the Macrovision anticopy process" notice at the beginning of the video. I'll see your Macrovision anticopy process and raise you the Internet and three decades of streaming media development!
