Who should be the villain in Daredevil 2?

I think we can forget about him, the owl or the eel, they'd be too silly for the feel of the DD films.

The Owl is the current bad guy in the comics right now- and he is pretty well done. He is actually fighting DD the intelligent way- legally. (DD's identity was revealed to the papers.. long story.)

He is now marketing some alleged mutant hormone drug.

It would make a good movie, but only in the long term.

Thanks for the info. It's been a few years since I've read the book. It is good to see that they have finally turned the Owl into a real villain. I remember back when he was more along the line of the villains from the 1960's Batman TV show (right down to the owl-shaped airplane).

Daredevil itself is in a bit of a renaissance- the book is generally well written. I have some complaints, and am not sure I will read it after the current storyline is finished, but I am enjoying it so far.

this sequel is begging for kingpin and bullseye to return, and if they spin elektra off into her own flick, then Typhoid Mary is the logical choice (and the only other DD villian)

DD has always just used Spider-man villians. And a handful of losers from the MU who became his villians.

One thing that echo-ed through my head while watching
DD is that it'd make a great TV series. DD is a fairly FX
spare superhero.

I'd really like to see a HBO series.

The enemy in DD2 should be the person who, more than any other single person, made Murdock's life a living hell. The person who killed the ones Murdock loved, who corrupted Murdock's lover, who destroyed Murdock's life, who made Murdock's enemies strong and powerful.
