Crothian's custom user title is 'like Cappen Varra'. It annoys me because I have no idea who Cappen Varra is. Will someone please inform me? I'm as crazy as a dog in a hubcap factory!

Cappen Verra is from Carrone. I always imaged it like a medival France. They seem to have royalty, and swashbuckling characters. Cappen Varra is a swashbuckling like character. Carrone is known best for producing great steel and great wines. Oh, and the drug Krrf (that's how it is spelled). Cappen Varra is described as the honest man in Sanctuary. Throughout the stories he is one of the the few characters who is actaully good. The stories are really grim and gritty, more so then almost any series I have ever read. But dispite all the bad and nasty things that goes on in the city of Sanctuary, Cappen Varra still manages to be true to himself and lead a good life. He is a dangerious man though, more thn one mugger has found out just how well he can weild the blade he carries.

THe Minstrel is known (some say jokeingly) as the "only Honest man in Sanctuary. He is slim and wiry, with long dark hair and blue eyes, a romantic lad trying to find his fortune without spending too much effort to maintain it. His poetry and music are his greatest skills but his rapier is not to be sneered at. He has also been gifted with an amulet which may give him protection against magic if he can say three truths about the orginator of the magic. Sanctuary has a strange attraction for Cappen, and he will often leave, only to return several months later. He is orginally from the city of Corrone, and has a big weakness for beautiful women as they do for him. He is a good minstrel but would rather flirt then work. He is the drinking buddy of Jamie the Red.

His features were thin and regular on a long skull, cleanshaven, eyes bright blue, black hair banged and falling to the shoulders. His voice gave the language a melodious accent, as if to bespeak white cities, green fields and woods, quicksilver lakes, blue sea, of the homeland he left in search of his fortune.
