Who's going to Gen Con?

I'm going. This year my 16 year old hopes to be in the Magic National championship that runs at GenCon. He has been winning local tournaments and placing in bigger ones.

My wife and I will be there. Our room is booked at The Westin. Looking forward to finding some Bulldogs and Hollow Earth Expeditions games this year. The ENnie Awards will be great this year, too. We've got some new booth decorations on the way and some other ideas kickin' around.

I'm going as well. I figured it's a good time to get back since the last time I was there was in 2005.

And, I'm staying at the Omni - which is bit different for me as I normally stayed at the downtown Mariott (love those gerbil tunnels).

I'll be there, this time at the Marriott. Figures that we'll be farther away from the rooms where we'll spend 80%+ of our time than last year when we were at the Omni.

Plus The Ram won't be between our room and the Pathfinder hall!

Not this year, sadly, but for a good reason. GenCon 2012 conflicts with my 10th wedding anniversary, and my wife and I are going on a cruise to celebrate. It's no "rooms full of gamers", but sunny beaches aren't a bad alternative.
