On the one hand, I hate GMS.

On the other, I do need a set of good rules for a pirate style game.

So, I'll probably look it over and see how well it fits with Arcana Unearthed.

YARRRRRR!

I'll certainly be lookin' it over.

Does anyone know if they be usin' their own naval rules, or if they be usin' d20 content from another publisher?

Hi all!

Over in the recent "pirates" thread in Open, Chris Pramas wrote:

"Skull & Bones uses a slightly modified version of the Seas of Blood system."

That's a solid baseline choice in my opinion; although adaptation to 17th-18th century naval tactics will be a major factor in my enjoyment of this product.

In regards to the thread's question, I'll certainly be buying this product as soon as I can. It feels as though I've had it on pre-order for nearly an eternity. ;)

However, being a freak, I'll probably run the game as a "Nautical Romance." You know, like "Captain Fabio" and much bodice-ripping. Ah, Miranda Jarrett, you're my favorite!!!

Thanks for reading!
