Who's your favorite Villain?

Seconding the nom for Ursala form Little Mermaid.

However, the unquestionable baddest bad of the Disney enclave, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. Def makes my top 5 favorite villains ever.

5. Magneto from X-Men...he's a class act.
4. The Legion of Doom (both from "Superfriends" and the vastly superior in awesomeness "Justice League: Unlimited" versions)
3. Mumm-Ra from Thundercats
2. Maleficent

(hmmm. Seems to be something about the letter "M")

...and Steel Dragons' all time favorite villain ever...
1. Evil-Lyn from He-Man/Masters of the Universe. She was/is just soooo much cooler/bad ass than Skeletor.

Dr. Doofenshmirtz and everyone associated with the League Of Villainous Evildoers Maniacally United For Frightening Investments in Naughtiness (yes, that organization has the acronym you think it does, no, I did not just make it up).

I suppose honorable mentions also go out to...

Bad Horse, the thoroughbred of sin
Lex Luthor and his evil genius, if not arrogent, brain.
Brain (of Pinky and the ...)
Captain Hammer (while dressed as the Hero of town, he is the villian of the series as you sympathize with Dr. Horrible -- while not exceptionally deep, the fact that he is a hero to everyone makes him an interesting villian)
Jubal Early (the bounty hunter from Firefly episode "Objects in Space" <-- in the one episode, he managed to really pull off that "creepy" vibe that was enough to say "Real or fictional, I don't want this guy anywhere near me")
Cobra Commander (way more dimensional of a character than Serpentor ever was)
Mum-ra, the ever-living
Most of the villians (with the exception of Wrath-Amon and Dregs) from the 90's cartoon Conan the Adventurer (while a cheesy afternoon cartoon, several villians were developed over the course of the series to be multidemensional)

Many honorable mentions...

Medea
Iago
Lady Macbeth
Javert
Heathcliff and Cathy
Joker
Vader
Ellsworth Toohey (The Fountainhead)
The Terminator (Arnold/T101, of course)
Hannibal Lecter
Magneto
Cthulhu
Grandmother Dollenganger (Flowers in the Attic)

But, at least tonight, I'm going to say my "favorite" villian is...

AM, from Harlan Ellison's "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream."

Lady from Glen Cook's "Black Company" series. She had it all: gorgeous looks, stylish pizazz, a girlish sense of humor, and heartless cruelty.

Simon Phoenix from Demolition Man. Yes, he was quite one dimensional, but DAYUM I loved those over the top villains from early 90s actionflicks. Him, Howard Payne in Speed, Ryan Gaerity in Blown Away, Mitch Leary in In The Line Of Fire... all unapologetically and irredeeemably evil.

Archibald Cunningham
Of all the villains I've seen, he is the one who I really loath... When you see him talking and smiling, you know that this rodent is the most despicable villain that you've ever laid your eyes upon.

I can't believe I forgot about Cunningham! He's possibly the only movie villain that caused me to openly and visibly scowl at a movie screen! Pure, unadulterated slime.
