Whose PC is this?! Denounce yourself!

The male may be the dwarven fighter Glen Ashenhaft. I'm not entirely sure, because (a) he must have gained a bit of weight, and (b) it's hard to imagine Glen not holding a mug of ale. These two things could be connected, of course ... Glen's primary claim to fame was in setting the campaign record for "Most Gallons Of Ale Lugged Into A Dungeon". Fourteen, if I recall correctly. Glen didn't know what sort of horrible monstrosities he might end up fighting down there, but he was darn sure he didn't want to face them sober.

The young lady, I believe, is Freyja Sonsdatter, the renowned half-elf archer-ranger/cleric. She was as famous for her prowess with a bow (legend has it that she once slew a foe with an arching shot over a high wall, having ascertained his location by sound-I'm not sure I believe that one) as for her compassion for the poor and sick (much of the proceeds of her adventuring career were used to build hospitals for the indigent). An angel of mercy and an angel of death, one might say ...

This is Magnus of Icewall. 7th level human male Barbarian. He's sans his ice axe because it melted in the warmer northern climes of Ansalon. He began his adventuring career at the end of the War of the Lance, traveling north to see the wide world. His greatest accomplishment to date is delivering the deathblow to a Rhemoraz with his mighty spear Sundart, a +2 flaming Longspear.

Ah Krynn, how I love thee.

QUOTE]

This is Charyse. Female human Que-Shu 7th level sorceress, wizard of the white robes. In my Dragonlance campaigns, the sorcerer class can take the test just like a wizard can. She joined up with Magnus as he traveled to Xak Tsaroth. Her parents and family survived the Dragonarmy attack when they fled the village. She is a cousin to Goldmoon.

The lady is obviously Sharnasa of the Seven Pillars, the sorcerous consort of Prince Tarmind. She appeared at court astride a golden lion and quickly captured the Prince's heart. Two of his counselors disapproved but they were old men and their deaths not untimely. She has taken over the west wing of the palace, and fearful servants say that gargoyles bring her news and secrets every night. She's obviously moved on from lions to leopards.

Sharnasa got her name by raising seven pillars of snow-white marble in the gardens, singing them into being in a single night. Each is inscribed with a riddle writ in letters of gold. The man who solves all seven riddles will gain her body and soul. The Prince walks the garden each night; he has solved three of the riddles, and employs many sages to seek answers for the others.

Why that man is Rupert.

Just Rupert thank you. Rupert was a rather wild if dull-witted fellow (barbarian 10) who had a large number of hunting birds (pigeons) about him at all times. Rupert loved birds and would hire himself out as a falconer (messenger pigeon trainer).

Rupert met his end at the hands of a Roc when he made the mistake of trying to tame it and teach it to deliver messages for him.

The man is Glenda, the dwarven barbarian woman who wandered the frozen wastes of the Southlands as the Jewel in the Snow.

The woman is Phil (short for Phillaemyven), the elf ranger man who nancied about the courts of the high city Mael hitting on all the eligable bachelors.

The man is my very first character ever... Gardol Silverforge.

He was a male fighter who had a particular love in his heart for the dwarven culture. I played him in Boxed Set D&D campaigns for years, and eventually he became an Immortal, eventually rising to the rank of Hierarch (sphere of Matter) before dispersing his essence and becoming mortal again... and again after years on the campaign trail meeting with Immortality and again rising to the rank of Hierarch. He dispersed his essence into mortality again and was sucked into the outer dimensions by blackballs to become one of the Old Ones (per the Immortal Set).

Of course, this was back in the day of grade school, when we played D&D three times a day, every day (once at recess, once at lunch, and marathon sessions after school), and could log in the neighborhood of 60 gaming hours per week (with weekends)... and it still took me four years to get there (I know we did more gaming in summertime, but I estimate I probably poured a good 10,000 hours into the character - 60 hours per week times 50 weeks per year times four years is 12,000 hours, and we did take a brief AD&D tour, but this guy was my alter ego for years).

Ugo the viking

Hmm, where'd you get a picture of Ugo, viking smith of Tonnsborg?

(Um... the big burly guy, not the chick with the leopards.)
