It briefly describes the negotiations that took place at the start of that encounter. I can't remember, now, what those negotiations involved in any detail. I'm pretty confident that I used them to foreshadow some stuff around drow working with frost giants (and hence being enemies of the fire elementals and pyro hydra) - hence the reference to "emissaries" - but the details are completely gone. The foreshadowing is also largely irrelevant - I subsequently also had a frost giant in the temple of Lolth that the PCs trashed, but I don't think any of the players remembered and drew the connection, and in any event on the current trajectory of the game I don't anticipate getting to play a converted version of G2. I can't remember most of the details, but Levistus has become a bigger part of the game since then, and I wish I did because I think there was some good stuff there that I could use to reinforce links between earlier events in the game and the current trajectory of play.</p> <p style="margin-left: 20px"></p> <p style="margin-left: 20px">* At post 216 in <a href="http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?336198-Can-the-GM-cheat" target="_blank">this thread</a> I describe a chained cambion lamenting its sister.
