It would have been limited as the Warlocks spell list. They can be the best blaster, but are restricted to it by spells, only restricted by the restraints of spells known and inability to regain sorcery points; which is the primary focus of the class.  But are not able to replenish after short rest as bards or battle masters die (until 20th level)We'll agree to disagree, as you have not convinced me otherwise as I have not convinced you.
