I came across the Twisted Rune safehouse in Baldur's Gate II, and got my butt handed to me. I don't think I even realized what it was at first. Then it became a challenge. They were tough

When it first came out, I loved the detail.
I was a teenager at the time.

As I've grown older I've loved the various factions within it that a DM could use or a Player could aspire to be part of.

Loved the 2E Realms, the Faiths & Avatar book was great. I loved the Speciality Priest. Screw the balance factor
