I actually named a character after the Chairman. He never killed any orcs or beholders, but he was a genuine Good Guy and there are some goblins and a pile of siv that won't be troubling the world anymore thanks to him. I know it seems a bit lame but I couldn't think of a better tribute to a fellow gamer.

Anyway, I totally agree that these boards are more than just a collection of postings. Part of the reason that I have been willing to organize the NC Game Days is that the people are so genuinely nice that it is great to meet them face to face. And I'm totally psyched about Piratecat coming to town. It's like Christmas in mid-September!

Man HUGGS

I think that man huggs are OK as long as the rules are followed:

1. The hands must remain closed in a fist.

2. Absolutely not touching below the waist.
(unless it's during a sporting event then butt patting is acceptable in moderation)

3. Back Patting is OK continuous gripping and open handed (see rule 1) rubbing is not.

I think that's it...


Disclaimer:

These rules do not apply to same sex relationships or interfamily man huggs.

Also I do not imply that same sex intimacy is wrong or yucky...to each their own.

It's hard enough to find someone to love nowadays without someone forcing some stigma on you.

If two people are interested in one another intimately then more power to you being lonely sucks.
