Why isn't our society freaking out over this?

that's still a lot of people. I'm not freaked, mostly curious about the behavior...in regards to the predatory aspect of the disappearances. Sure sometimes people just WANT to vanish, but it's the people that are taken that gets me jittery sometimes.

Compared to the number of people killed by far more common means it's tiny. Approximately 3,000 people a year out of a population of more than 200 million. Compared to tens of thousands a year in car accidents alone.

Which takes me back to the "things that bump in the night" idea...

There are plenty of things that go bump in the night and they're just as human as you or I. If you'd seen the things I've see you'd realize the most vicious, violent, and dangerous animal on the planet is US. Christ I've seen things, well I can't talk about on a forum with these sort of rules and don't like talking about at all. But take it at face value, there's nothing crueler, nothing more vicious, vindictive, and pointlessly destructive than people.

Word on that...Monsters are actually more appealing, lol. I see what people do to each other and themselves daily...amazing.

For example EVERY FOurth of July we get dozens of burn victims! All ages, every year.

Oh gee darn. Bright people actually chimed in with the correct data before I could. I'm always amazed when people look at that sort of thing and automatically assume that 1.4 million people are actually disappearing permanently every year in the USA.

But see.... They're lying to you!

The truth is that all those people really DO vanish every year. The Morlocks have trained us not to notice and their friends in the Government are helping by allowing all the illegal immigration just so that we won't notice the ever increasing numbers of people who vanish without a trace.

I think this thread shows people are perfectly capable of freaking themselves out without the media being involved. Give the little guy some credit!

Since we're on the freak out subject...What are peoples opinions on UFO abductions in regards to vanishings, lol. Seriously.

You don't hear so much about UFO abductions any more. Ever wonder why? The reason is simple: back when UFO abductions were more common, they aliens were still learning. They collected samples and did strange and bizarre things to those they took.

Since then, the aliens have had time to utilize the information they collected on humans and have returned to Earth appearing in human form. They still take people and do strange and bizzare things to them, but they use internet chat rooms and message boards to lure their victims. It is a heck of a lot easier than having to avoid air force jets and radar systems, and if you think the price of gas has gone up, you should see what UFO fuel is going for these days. If you don't believe me, check out Dateline the next time they run "To Catch a Predator." It is obvious that some of those people are from another planet.
