Why no psionic healing abilities?

I'm thinking about an all-psionic game, so it looks like I'll need to jury-rig something if we want players to be able to revive one another.

Don't absolutely need to, really. As has been mentioned, healing of a sort is available to psi folk. It's not the same kind of healing, but that's good.

Consider it a challenge to adapt your group's gaming style to a different mechanic -- if big doses of Insta-Heal(tm) ala traditional cleric aren't available, then DON'T GET HURT.

That (not-so-)subtle shift in attitude and behavior will more than likely produce a campaign with a very different feel. And, really, isn't that one of the reasons you wanted to play a psi-based game anyway? To try something different?

Otherwise, another answer comes to mind: Change names. Instead of "clerics," call them "psychic whatchacallits." End of problem.

Feh.

I love Cell Adjustment far too Belgiuming well to give it up, which is one reason why I still use mostly 2e Psionics.

Really?
I ran a Psi heavy 2nd ed game and the psions dominated with this power, esp. due to the rapid recharge of psp.
I look at 3.5 and wonder how we ever managed with earlier psionics.

Sold! You've convinced me. I'm going to pregen a set of characters to see how it all looks, though I'll probably let them create from scratch for the real thing.
