Why should I be interested in Lost?

I wouldn't wait. The first season and especially the early episodes are excellent TV. Period. I think you'll be a little lost without the background of the first season.

That's what I mean. No need to skip the first season and be confused when you can watch a couple hours every night and be caught up quickly.
