D&D 4E Why the 4e hate on Wilbur?

I just hate the flavor the name Wilbur evokes. Talking horses and pigs that can speak with arachnids immediately jump to mind. I assume this is get us ready for the My Little Pony and Littlest Pet Shop campaign settings that are scheduled for 2009 and 2010.

Yeah. When are those playtesters gonna realize they better name their characters in ways that I approve of? This is just another example of how WotC is trying to fire me as a customer.

Why doesn't WotC realize how they're ravaging my childhood and my memories and my puppy with this sort of thing?! "Wilbur" is an awful name for a PC! I hate that they're trying to force these kinds of names down our throats in 4e!

Now if they'd gone for something classy like, oh, I don't know... "Rubliw", then I might be willing to listen.

Maybe Wilbur is one of the last PC gnomes and the playtest DMs are purposefully abusing their players into choosing more manly and useful races.

C.I.D.

It'll be even worse when feats with names like "Wilbur's Gambit" and "Wilbur's Sword Cut" and "Golden Wilbur Adept" start showing up.

Why the hate on Wilbur?
He killed me and took my stuff.

I got better.
