I thought the Fiendbinder was really cool.
I thought it had a lot of promise, but i wonder what they were smoking in saying the class has anything to do with orcs.

You could plop ANY race as a requirement for that PrC and it would have more reason being a summoning PrC than a orc and half-orc PrC.
They just probably ran out of ideas, didn;t want to spend time thinking up a more appropriate PrC for orcs that didn;t highlight a weak part of the race! (their low CHA)

I just hope there will be a half-orc Bbn PrC in Masters of the Wild that will actually take advantage of their strength: STR! :)
More like the Mighty Contender of Kord did.

Hi,
I just have a quick question. Where can I get a subscription for Dragon in England and how much would it cost (in £).
Thanks in advance.
Cya:D
I subscribe, I cant remember exactly, i thinkits about 30-35 quid for 12 issues, plus the annual. A bargin! Plus you get it about a week (or more- depending on your retailer) earlier than the shops!

This was answered on the official boards a while back, when people wondered why there wasn't an Oriental city in the OA issue. Apparently there was trouble getting that article/map finished in time for that issue, so it got bumped back. And it's gotta go someplace. :)

As a VERY VERY casual reader of Dragon, I'd like to comment on the latest issue.

A few observations/opinions:
1) I thought the Computer game pages were a waste of space. They didn't even say what platform the game(s) were for! (ignore that if they are available for every gaming platform)

2) I also noticed the incredible amount of ADS!
I was actually shocked near the beginning of the mag, as I thumbed thru TWENTY-EIGHT pages and only got the Table of Contents, a weak editorial or 2, mailbag and previews, and a comic strip.

3) I am quite surprised that this magazine sells for $5.99 an issue.

Actually I've always thought Dragon (as compared to other 'similar' magazines mainly computer games) was rather low priced even compared to computer mags without the CDs they love throwing at us now (Free if you pay 9.99 instead of 6.99  ).

That said the ads are getting pretty thick on the ground so to speak and I haven't never really understood why Dragon reviews computer games at all. I would rather have more DnD related articles (yes I know the games are always RPGs but still, another few spells/campaign setting details/PrC etc would be far more welcome).

I started buying Dragon again when 3E came out and was actually pretty pleased with it so far. I am dissappointed in some aspects of the mag but overall it meets my needs (and the recent 'Red Sails' campaign setting in Eastern Eurpoe was excellent)

Not to mention the issue isn't a "Supplement to Masters of the Wild" as was mentioned, it's just this month's issue, so it has a Wilderness theme, doesn't mean that's all it is :)

I'm looking forward to next months 'World Building' issue. I hope it'll be good. I did enjoy this issue too. Not as much as the 'Red Sails' issue though.
